RED RIBBON WEEK!

OMG (: Starting tomorrow it's going to be Red Ribbon Week at my school! If you don't know what it is, it's basically a week's worth of fun and celebration to prevent drug use.

I can't wait to tell you guys all about it every, single day.

Here's a heads up on what day is what:

Monday: Wear Red (: it's pretty cool to see almost everybody wearing red.

Tuesday: Inside Out Day! :D I think I'll be the only one doing it :o

Wednesday: Dress Business Casual Day! Not looking forward to this day xD

Thursday: WACKY TACKY DAY. Omg. This is going to be my favorite day.

Friday: Pajama Day (: Time to get comfy.

Fall Love! :D

FALL. FALL. FALL.
It's my favorite season of all :D

Anyways, fall is probably the best season out of the rest. Why? Summer, my hair gets frizzy and it's sticky outside. Winter, it's too cold and dark. Spring, nice weather, but allergies. Fall is a perfect balance.

Halloween is coming up too and I'm SO excited. Guess what I'm gonna be :D A NERD LOL.
Last year, I was a legit ninja (: hehe.

Fall is amazing because of also the fashion choices you can make.

Friday night football games are AWESOME. I'm only in middle school, but since my brother plays on the freshman team, I get to go to his games and the varsity's game (:

My main football game outfit would have to be:

-Blue letterman jacket I got from Forever21

-Yellow/Blue high school shirt

-Skinny jeans

-Uggs (:

-Yellow or Blue headband

-Hair in a high ponytail with ribbons

As you can tell my high school colors are blue and yellow :D

I'm SO spirited. LOL.

Fall is also the time you get to JUMP IN THAT PILE OF LEAVES SITTING ON YOUR FRONT LAWN. I do that every, single year. It makes me feel like a little kid again :)

To Decorate? Or To Not Decorate?

SCHOOL LOCKERS. To Decorate? Or To Not Decorate? :/

My school.. it was pretty stupid. The year before I came into my middle school, they had 5 minutes between each passing time and you can go to your locker WHENEVER.

Now? They first shorten it to 3 MINUTES.That's right. I said 3. Since it was my first year at my middle school, I was late to every single one of my classes.

After 2 weeks of teachers complaining, the principal changed it to 4 minutes but we still couldn't go to our lockers whenever. I mean, pshh. I still go when I feel like it. What are they gonna do? Suspend me for using my locker even though my class is right by it so I won't be late?

Anyways. If you're like me, having no time to decorate your locker and getting yelled at by a teacher, I wouldn't recommend decorating your locker. I mean, go ahead you could, but what's the point if you can't hang out, you know? But if you can go to your locker whenever, and your friends hang out with you by it, I do recommend decorating it!

Your locker's your little home away from home! The only thing I actually have on my locker door is my volleyball magnet (: So far, I met a lot of new friends just by them seeing the volleyball magnet and we have something in common! Express your personality by decorating your locker. You will make some new friends!

*Ways to Decorate Your Locker

-Add some fun pictures, you know NOTHING school related :D

-Add some funky wall paper (:

-Fun Magnets!

-Cute Mirror which is almost a must! I NEED TO GET ONE :O

-Magnetic holders that you can put on the door! :D

-OH YEAH. My friend did this to her locker. She was passing notes with her boyfriend in class with sticky notes, right? Then she put all the colorful sticky notes on her locker! SOO CUTE.

-A little disco ball for the extreme ;D

All About GYM :P

Oh snap. Gym. A lot of girls really hate gym. How about me? I have it every, single, day because it's my 5th period. It really sucks, but if you make the most out of your gym class it will be fun I promise :D

That's your best friend. Deodorant. You will get stinky! SO PUT IT ON. (:

Changing in the locker rooms. If it's your first time don't worry about it okay? :D The first time I changed, I was the first one done. My friends say I change really fast. I honestly don't care if people stare. We're all girls right? So what's the problem? I just face my locker and change as quick as I can.

So, you're hair's all straighten and it's all nice and purrtyy. But now you have gym. I recommend NOT leaving it down. Just put your hair up! Ponytail, bun, pigtails, whatever. Hair accessories you should keep with you; bobby pins (it will totally help you), hair clips, hair ties, and headbands.

I just thought this was so cute to put on LOL.

How to make Gym more fun you may ask?

1. Leave your girl friends for awhile and go hang out with the guys for once. The guys in my class are pretty chilled and funny (: they will make your gym class fun!

2. Actually DO the sport. Right now at my school we're doing ARCHERY. IT'S SO MUCH FUN. The girls in my class hates it and they would gossip. Me? I just went and shot an arrow! LOL. It was amazing :D

3. If your school doesn't do this already, ask your gym teacher to put on some music during your warm up jog. I love jogging to music, it motivates you!

What I'm Loving Right Now: COMBAT BOOTS!

I got mine actually in August from Forever 21 for $32.80 and I've been wearing them ever since! You honestly could wear combat boots with anything.. except sweatpants and bermuda shorts in my opinion.

What's In My School Bag + Pencil Case? :D

So, in my opinion I count this as my first REAL post. (: Oh , and btw I'll try to update daily. If not, weekly.

MOVING ON.

So basically my backpack is a red and black plaid Jansport Superbreak. I've had it since last year and I'm still in love with it! Before I got it, I had this High Sierra backpack that's almost like the Jansport Big Student backpack, but it was curvy. If that makes any sense at all LOL. I hated it. I'm a small girl, really small girl and it looked SO big on me. Plus, it was a waste of $20! Sheesh. I got my Jansport on sale for $8 at Modells. Great, right? :D

In the front pocket of my backpack I keep:
~My Pink Cybershot Camera (: I love taking pictures on the bus!

~Little plastic baggie that has a few bandages and some bobby pins.

~A small coin purse filled with the obvious.. coins duh :P

~A piece of paper that has my friend's locker combo on it.. SHH. (:

~Bath & Body Works PocketBac Hand Sanitizer :D

~Purell Hand Sanitizer that's almost gone D:

~Lip Balm/Lip Gloss

~Compact Mirror

~Travel size lotion, every time I wear shorts, I usually forget to put lotion on and when I'm in the car with my mom driving to school, I just pull this out and GOODBYE ASHY LEGS. It comes in handy A LOT.

My middle school sucks because we aren't allowed to carry our backpacks around because they think we're gonna bring a stupid gun to school. I totally understand why they're worried, but they don't let us carry our bags around, but they let the HIGH SCHOOLERS DO?

Onto the big compartment :D

~Purple 5 subject notebook for history.. oh yeah. That's a good thing about my school. We don't use textbooks. At all. We just use interactive notebooks :D We only have 2 textbooks and those stay at home.

~Pink cupcake folder for English

~My colorful folder that has fruits all of it which is basically my homework folder

~My school agenda which we're REQUIRED to bring EVERYWHERE. They are so serious about it, and we can't lose it because it's basically our hall pass and if we do lose it, we HAVE to pay $4 for a new one!

~13 Reasons Why (: I just started reading this and I LOVE it.

~My Pencil case

~Red/Black Plaid small umbrella. You never know when you have to walk home in the rain from the bus stop >.<

~Little black pouch that has feminine items in it.

So next is my pencil case (:

I got it from Staples almost 2 years ago for like $7 I think. It's black, white, and blue with an argyle style on it. That's what it's called right? The diamond pattern... There's two compartments that fold up against each other so there's a bigger compartment and a small one. If you open the two compartments flat on a table, there's two Velcro pockets there. Okay so I just read this over again, and it sounds totally confusing. I'M SORRY D:

In the big compartment of my pencil case I have..

~12 color pencils which we're also required to have with us. -sigh-

~A giant glue stick because in middle school, apparently we do a lot of gluing! :P

~Pink scissors with flames on them I had since 3rd grade :DDD omg. Memories (:

~2 Sharpie pens (Blue and Pink)

~Orange sticky note..? OH. I was passing notes to my best friends. Hehe.

In the smaller compartment of my pencil case I have..

~Bobby pins, hair clips, and hair ties.

~Chapstick which is A MUST!

~Post It Flags which are amazing (:

~2 Mechanical pencils

~5 pens (Green, Blue, Red, Black, and Orange)

~2 Pieces of gum LOL.

Onto the Velcro pockets.

On one side I have 2 Expo Markers for Math, and 2 Highlighters which is required for all my core classes except Math :P

On the other side I just have a few regular pencils, in case anyone needs to borrow a pencil or I need to take a test that requires a Number 2 HB Pencil.

Hi everyone! :D I'm Akari. It's not my actual name, but you can call me that.

I've been following blogs lately, watching youtube gurus, and all that kind of stuff and I wanted to finally start my own blog about advice, fashion tips, etc. I'm only 13, but my friends told me I give really good advice. It's almost 2nd nature to me because I love helping people.
